Description
“The Ex-Ara” by Giovanni Battista Guadagnini, Turin, 1785
G.B. Guadagnini is considered one of Italy’s finest makers, producing a large number of violins, but relatively few violas. This viola, made in Turin, towards the end of his industrious career is typical of the smaller shape and size he commonly used.
This outstanding viola is an interpretation of ‘The Ex-Ara’ by Guadagnini (1785). It is ideal for the serious player who is looking for a fine instrument for their higher grades/diploma study and performance work.
