Who should play an Eastman Young Master viola?
The Eastman Young Master viola is a step up from the Concertante in terms of quality and will take a student up to intermediate level. So a child moving up from a Westbury would find a good fit with this instrument. If you are looking for a viola for an intermediate level teen, then I would check out the Master Series and Heritage violas.
It’s recommended to upgrade to Helicore strings to really get the most out of this viola.
The Eastman Master Series violas are offered in full antiqued finish. These handmade and hand varnished instruments offer the high level of workmanship from this excellent workshop. The instruments are fitted with quality ebony fittings, French Despiau bridge and standard strings.
