Description
Concertante Cello
The Concertante cello is an outstanding student cello, offered in antique finish. The attractive wood and dark brown varnish give the look of an old German cello. There are two models of this cello : the Stradivari and Montagnana.
The Stradivari model (pictured) has slightly more feminine sound and smaller size. The Montagnana is powerful and robust. It’s recommended to fit with Larsen strings. These cellos are fitted with a carbon endpin which keeps the weight down.
The Concertante cello is a best seller especially the Strad.
It’s most popular in middle/upper grades.
